After four awesome years weaving prayer shawls for you all, it’s time for me to make a change. As of 11/24/2024 Black Cat Judaica is closed indefinitely.

These standard tallitot are 24″ wide, 60″ long, and are woven from 100% bamboo, with a handwoven or embroidered atarah. Please use this page to customize your tallit.

  • You can choose up to three stripe colors. If you choose fewer than three just put your primary color choice in twice.
  • All tallitot are woven on a white warp. If you select a different color for the base, that color will appear slightly lighter as the base than it would as the stripes because of the white warp showing through.
  • If you select the custom embroidery option, please include a description of your desired pasuk (I only embroider text, no images!) in the notes at checkout.
  • Note: Due to the custom and handmade nature of this work, listed order times are estimates. Please allow at least six months of lead time in advance of a deadline such as a b’nai mitzvah or wedding. If your deadline is in 1-3 months, a mandatory rush order fee must be applied applied using the separate “Rush Order” page.
